After being involved in different media projects, in 2011 he held a position as a communicator for the Galápagos Governor’s office.
Because of his commitment to cultural development, in 2012 he was selected to travel to the UK as a photographer and cultural representative for the Galapagos in the UK at the "Galapagos Residency Project". In 2014, he worked as a field producer for an episode of “The BBC Natural World - Galapagos: Islands of Change” TV series. He has held the position of ministerial communications advisor in the Government Council of Galapagos on two different administrations (2013 y 2020). In 2017, Adrián started a media production enterprise called "Archipelago Films", located in San Cristóbal. This has allowed him to work with different institutions and NGOs, and to collaborate with renowned Ecuadorian film directors. It has also permitted him to promote media arts among the local youth.
Adrián worked as a video chronicler for National Geographic – Lindblad Expeditions in 2022. After this new approach to wildlife videography, he stared to vision a career involving eco-tourism and interpreting wildlife. Therefore, he obtained a degree as a National Guide in Ecuador, as well as a Galápagos Naturalist License in 2025.
