Eduardo Neira

One of the most experienced captains in Galápagos, National Geographic Endeavour II Captain Eduardo Neira returned to the islands almost 30 years ago—after a career navigating the world since 1977. In addition to his talents as Ship’s Master, he is also a songwriter and singer, educator, and author. He became a Galápagos naturalist guide in 1980. Returning to Lindblad with the inaugural season of Endeavour II, he was previously captain aboard National Geographic Islander. Captain Neira lives outside Quito with his wife and children, one of whom is about to become a seaman.
