Giancarlo Traverso

Giancarlo was born in Lima, Peru, but immigrated to Canada with his parents at an early age.  After finishing his studies in video production at the University of Concordia Montreal, Giancarlo worked for several film editing companies.  He is considered an accomplished, detail-oriented and dynamic film and television editor.   

His passion for the outdoors and nature, plus his love for film and still photography, has allowed him to travel around the world.  Before joining Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic, Giancarlo worked as a broadcast technician for a large cruise line.  He is fluent in Spanish and English.
