Greivin Cubero

Born and raised in the western highlands of Costa Rica’s Central Valley, Greivin used to walk through coffee plantations with his grandfather, which is where his passion for trees and nature began.

He started guiding in La Fortuna and he learned from the best. With an experienced entomologist as a mentor and time spent working with seasoned naturalist guides, he developed knowledge and people skills that complemented his technical studies. He has been a certified guide since 2004. His studies in tropical biology and almost 18 years of experience in the field are his professional achievements.

Greivin lived in New York for a few years, where he expanded his English language skills. His pride and joy is his family, with whom he enjoys his free time, personally guiding them to the corners of Costa Rica.
