Kevin Knutson

Kevin found adventure around every corner growing up with the unchained beauty of the Pacific Northwest. As a child he developed a love for exploration during summers spent along the Oregon Coast, as well as an appreciation for animals of all sizes. The spark of adventure continued through high school where Kevin spent weeks at a time camping in the untamed wilderness of Montana, discovering new ambitions in creative and artistic media.

As a young adult, Kevin’s love for visual arts and the natural world led him to Seattle, where he graduated among the top of his class at the Art Institute of Seattle with a degree in video production. While a new chapter in his life developed, Kevin’s passion for world conservation, entertainment, and education led him to Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic in 2007 as a video chronicler. When not filming professionally, Kevin spends his time walking the beaches of the Seattle area, with camera in hand, renewing the spirit of exploration he had as a child.

As Video Chronicler, Kevin has his cameras at-the-ready 24 hours a day and seven days a week, with just one goal: to capture the essence of each expedition. Voyage DVDs are available at the end of each expedition—they often prove to be remarkable ways of remembering and recapturing the magic of these remarkable journeys.
