Michele Thibodeau

Michele grew up in a small, salty beach town on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, which instilled in her a love for water and the outdoors. After wrapping up undergrad at UNC-Chapel Hill, she alternated between seasonal work and travel, venturing across the U.S. and beyond, to places like Australia, Iceland, Panama, Brazil, and Colombia, eventually landing in Nicaragua in 2011 to complete a 200-hour yoga teacher training.

The physical benefits of yoga and a strong interest in anatomy and therapeutics led her to complete a program at the Denver Integrative Massage School in 2014, focusing on Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, prenatal, and Thai modalities. She aims to tailor massages for each client’s specific needs and teach relaxing yoga classes that are alignment- and breath-focused, as well as safe for all levels.

Michele continued her yoga studies with a 500-hour yoga teacher training in 2018, diving deeper into meditation, yin, restorative, and vinyasa styles of teaching. She splits her time seasonally between her hometown on the Outer Banks and Denver, Colorado. In her free time, you can find her in the mountains—snowboarding, hiking, or riding her motorcycle. Michele is so grateful for the opportunity to spend time sharing her passion for wellness with Lindblad guests, with the epic beauty of nature as a backdrop!
