Ronald Suny

Ron Suny is a Distinguished University Professor of History at the University of Michigan. He is a graduate of Swarthmore College and Columbia University and has taught at Oberlin College and the University of Chicago. Most of his research has been on the Soviet Union, modern European history, nationalism, and imperialism. His latest book is on the Armenian Genocide of 1915 and he is currently working on a biography of Joseph Stalin.
