Saturday morning found the National Geographic Sea Bird anchored outside Haines, Alaska’s adventure capital. We kicked off the day with several activities, including river-rafting, biking, hiking, and flightseeing. The raft trip began with a walk through Klukwan, a traditional Alaska native museum, and a dance demonstration in the Long House. We also had a chance to bike alongside Mount Ripinsky to beautiful Lake Chilkoot.

Between adventures there was time to explore the true Alaskan town of Haines. For being a small town, it has a lot of hidden treasures. There are two museums, a brewery, a distillery, and art sprinkled throughout the town. Around every corner was a treat to discover.
