Today we were able to enjoy a wonderfully relaxing day at sea onboard Sea Cloud. Weather and wind conditions were not favorable for setting the sails, however, a variety of activities created a pleasant flow to the day. In the morning Historian Tom Heffernan offered a presentation on “Bronze Age Corsica and Sardina” in preparation for the excursions of the coming days. Lunch was served on the lido deck and included the Sea Cloud tradition of pasta prepared inside a huge ‘wheel’ of parmesan cheese.

In the afternoon, Certified Photo Instructor Anna Mazurek presented “An Introduction to Expedition Photography” with special tips on how to capture the unique beauty of the ship we currently call home. We were treated to a very special afternoon tea with a made-to-order crepe station that enticed many a guest back for seconds. The gentle evening weather allowed for lively conversation during cocktail hour up on the lido and spanker decks before we made our way to the dining room for a beautifully presented and delightfully delicious dinner.
