After some sailing last night, we woke up this morning far inside the huge Pacaya Samiria preserve, in an area called Atun Poza, where this time we were able to explored a little longer by taking breakfast with us. But not just a snack or a sandwich, but a full breakfast in style on our skiffs. Breakfast was served in our seats by our crew and then instead of having to return to the ship for breakfast we could explore longer.
For the afternoon we explored the area of the Pacaya River and had a chance to cool down and swim in the mirror-like black tannin-rich water with a beer in hand. On our way back to the ship we had a gorgeous sunset, the sky had distant heavy storm clouds, with hues of blue and orange. Basically more like a double sunset, because the beautiful sky was reflected in the mirror that the black water is at Pacaya River.
