This morning National Geographic Quest has anchored in front of Barro Colorado Island (BCI) and our guests have enjoyed a morning full of different choices and experiences.

There was a hike in BCI trails, during which several monkeys, spiders, and birds were spotted. As usual, rainforest interpretation was performed and photography encouraged.

Some other guests took options like visiting the rainforest discovery center and of course, Zodiac rides around the island. Once back on the ship, we started our journey through the Panama Canal and enjoyed views from the decks as the line handlers and pilot took care of positioning the ship to cross the locks. We are now in the waters of the Pacific where new adventures and memories are expecting us.
