We started the day early by landing on Bartholomew Island before breakfast. Here we saw the endemic settler plants and walked along a wooden stairway all the way to the top of Bartholomew. We were rewarded with a magnificent view of the surrounding area—James, Santa Cruz, and other islands delighted our eyes. After breakfast, we visited a beach and snorkeled. Several devil’s rays were jumping with joy.
Later while having lunch we sailed towards Jervis Island, and upon arrival we kayaked, snorkeled, paddleboarded, and walked along a red sandy beach at sunset. Galápagos sea lions, mockingbirds, pelicans, brown noddies, marine iguanas, and lava lizards accompanied us along the way.
