Early this morning we started our activities with a pre-breakfast walk up 368 steps for an amazing view of the famous Pinnacle Rock on Bartolomé Island. This island was baptized by Captain Fitzroy, immortalized as a movie scene, and used as a nautical signal and bullseye for military practices. We witnessed a variety of geological phenomena, including examples of volcanic, ashy, and cooled lava. Even though we were captivated by a Mars-like landscape, we were also amazed by its great underwater diversity.

To finish our day, we moved around Santiago Island to an islet know as Chinese Hat. Here we concluded a beautiful day, exploring its waters and coastlines bathed in a breathtaking sunset.
