A full day in Galapagos consist of 12 hours all year round from 6 am to 6 pm, and we take full advantage of our time to explore this marvelous archipelago.
We started the day with a hike to the top of Bartolome, to enjoy one of the most beautiful views in Galapagos. Later on, we had several options for our guests to choose from, including plenty of relaxing time on the beach, glass-bottom boat outings, and deep water snorkeling. Our guests had a fantastic morning experiencing the abundant marine life of the Galapagos reserve.
After our busy morning, we returned to our floating home, National Geographic Endeavour II for lunch, and to repositioned to our next stop for the afternoon. Once at Sombrero Chino Island, we lowered the Zodiacs and went out for exploration rides. Our guests also had the opportunity to spend time on the beach, and of course, deep water snorkeling was offered with penguins, sea lions, sharks, rays and many varieties of fish.
