Today, we started the first full day of our expedition on Bartolome Island. The geological features of this island are stunning. Our guests were fascinated by the island’s landscape and the wildlife, which included the popular Galapagos penguins. We sailed all the way here to have the opportunity to see them, and we were lucky to see so many.

In the morning, we hiked and enjoyed the beach, followed by some stretching classes back on board. As we sailed to the northern part of Santa Cruz Island, we enjoyed a delicious organic Galapagos lunch made entirely with fresh produce from local Galapagos farmers.

After lunch, we explored Cerro Dragon, where we found the beautiful land iguanas. Some of our guests hiked and others went on a Zodiac ride to explore the mangrove forests along the coast.

We ended the day with a stunning sunset. It was a wonderful day in the Galapagos.
