The Galápagos archipelago is one of the most pristine ecosystems remaining on planet Earth. Galápagos is totally unique, with a great variety of endemic plants and animals found nowhere else. Protection of the islands (97% of which is within the national park) and the surrounding waters as a marine reserve has enabled this miracle of evolution to continue.

After photographing the most iconic view from the top of Bartolomé Island first thing this morning, our Epic Galápagos Photo Expedition took to the water with two amazing snorkeling opportunities. We enjoyed great views of huge schools of colorful fish, giant rays and green sea turtles, and more sharks that we have seen before in our life. Only in Galápagos!
