The DER below is from the expedition to Cuba that began on March 22, 2017.

History, culture and nature intertwine as we visit the Bay of Pigs area along the southern coast of Cuba. This area is where a planned invasion by Cuban-American dissidents was attempted and failed. A progressive art school called Korimakao flourishes with students from around the country coming to develop their natural talents. The area is also of great ecological significance as the surrounding waters are rich in sea life with a large inland level of endemic species to be found.
