This morning, dawn found us already exploring Belluda Caño, another one of the tributaries of the Amazon River. It was indeed a very successful morning; we looked at macaws awaking, noisily socializing, and going to the areas where they feed. We got to find some very interesting animals such as a southern tamandua anteater, an animal that we do not get see often.

After lunch in the afternoon, we left the ship to explore the river at dusk to look for some of the night creatures of the jungle.

The crepuscule of the day is always a very interesting time. Particularly because today we got to experience it twice, dawn and now dusk. First we got to see many of the animals of the day wake up and leave, and now we get to see them come back, and now many of the animals of the night become active. Bats, nighthawks, caimans among them.

In all, a busy and very interesting day!
