This morning, we awoke to the fantastic and striking scenery of Bora Bora. This was our first day of excursions, and the energy on board was palpable. After breakfast, we geared up and headed out to the back deck, where we boarded local boats, bound for snorkeling. The first site was a sandflat renowned for its resident stingrays, which we observed up close and personal. Shortly after, we relocated to the outer drop off, where we were quickly encircled by curious blacktip reef sharks.
After snorkeling, we departed for our own private motu (small island). Here we had a fantastic lunch, complete with live music and beautiful scenery. Some guests opted to head into town for some shopping. All in all, it was an excellent first day!
