In true Alaskan cloudy weather, we hiked along the well-maintained and ever beautiful Cascade Creek. The hike brought opportunities to stretch our legs as well as slow down and focus on many different photography techniques as we enjoyed the waterfalls. In the afternoon we strolled along the quaint streets of Petersburg, a fishing town that has a very friendly local population. Bog hikes and dock walks let us learn a bit more about southeast Alaska outside of the forest and glacial-carved fjords. Finishing the day with crab night, we enjoyed a fun meal and local cuisine.
