This green, vast jungle is home to many colorful birds, mammals, and reptile species. Some of them are seen every day, others not so often, such as anacondas and poisonous tree frogs. Today we had the opportunity to find them as we explored Casual Forest. Today’s exploration was full of interesting surprises, starting with the majesty of the giant trees and palms tangled among vines and bromeliads that are home to the exotic reptiles and amphibians that delighted us this morning.
In the afternoon, we visited the Amazonas community to meet the local leaders. This was a great opportunity to learn about their culture and way of life. We learned so much and appreciated their hard work to make amazing handicrafts.
