Today was our last day, and we planned to go hiking in the forest. The group woke up early, and we started our exploration on the shore of Marañon River. We landed on a highland area and entered the forest. We found all kinds of invertebrates and even small poisonous frogs. Huge trees create a unique environment, providing shelter for hundreds of birds and plants.
In the afternoon, we reached the beginning of the Amazon River. We celebrated our arrival with a toast as we floated together in the skiffs. The day ended with a visit to a small creek. Thousands of parrot species nested and displayed before dark.
