We left the ship early this morning and before breakfast to explore one of the tributaries of the Amazon by skiff. It was cloudy and dark, but the weather started quickly to improve. We saw right away several individual sloths scattered each one of them on its own tree. All of them totally wet and already positioned on the highest branches of the trees, craving for the morning sun to dry and warm them up.

For after a fantastic breakfast onboard the Delfin II we visited by foot the trail at Casual. This is always a great place to find wildlife, thanks to the aid of local scouts from a nearby community that look for things inside the forest and then come back out to shows us something or to lead us to where something interesting is. Poison dart frogs, tarantulas, snakes of different kinds, and other very interesting things.
