Today we woke to the slow rock of a slight Drake shake, moving the ship from front to back as we proceeded towards South America. A variety of seabirds soared around the ship, including the light-mantled albatross, Southern royal albatross, black-browed albatross, cape petrel, and southern giant petrel.
Throughout the day we were treated to a handful of presentations from our naturalist team. Most people enjoyed a slow afternoon on the ship, rounded out with waffles for teatime. As we entered the Beagle Channel and picked up the pilot, we sat down and enjoyed the world premiere of the guest slideshow, followed by the Argentinian feast presented by our wonderful galley team.
