This is the oldest island in the Galapagos archipelago, with one of the highest degrees of endemism. Today we had the great opportunity to visit two amazing sites on this incredible island. The morning started when the National Geographic Islander anchored in the crystalline waters of Gardner Bay. We offered kayaking, snorkeling and a beach walk. In the afternoon we had a great hike at Punta Suarez, one of the nesting areas for the Waved albatross that has recently arrived to the Galapagos to start their mating season.
