Floreana is also known as the “mystery island” for its intriguing history and its wildlife. We started our day with a pre-breakfast hike at Punta Cormorant where we were able to observe flamingos, sea turtles, sea lions, blue-footed boobies, and more. The most exciting part of our morning was the interaction that our guests had with the flamingos.
After snorkeling, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast followed by a visit to the Post Office Barrel where our guests were able to be part of the tradition of hand delivering post cards left by sailors and travelers. What a delightful day we had.
