Today we visited Floreana Island before breakfast to take advantage of the sunrise, which has the best light for photography. After a wet landing in Punta Cormorant, we went inland where a flamingo lagoon and a turtle-nesting site were to be found. It is so nice to experience nature at daybreak when everything is just waking up. Once we had breakfast, we sailed to Champion Island to look for the Charles Mockingbird, snorkel, or ride the glass bottom boat.
In the afternoon, we visited Post Office Bay where one can leave postcards without postage to be hand-delivered by other guests following a centuries old tradition. There was the option to either kayak or paddleboard or swim from the beach. Another day in paradise ends.
