This island is one of the most diverse of all the islands of Galapagos since it offers multiple excursion options, from great wildlife walks to amazing underwater explorations. Also, it’s home to a very old whaling-time postal system and the only one currently in use. Today our guests got to visit and take part in corresponding the old-fashioned way at Post Office Bay.

Snorkeling was great today and we enjoyed observing sea turtles, sea lions, rays, and many species of birds. The surrounding waters are teaming with all kinds of fish. Large tunas attract dolphins who catch and eat them then playfully follow the fishing boats. The dolphins put on a fun show for us today!

We also visited a brackish lagoon with dozens of feeding American greater flamingoes and nesting sea turtles. Then sunset was upon us, and it closed out another wonder-filled day.
