We began the day by cruising in the eastern part of Lancaster Sound, heading through increasingly dense ice towards our destination in Frem Fiord. During the morning, we had the pleasure of another presentation by guest speaker Eva Aariak, in which we learned more about the current situation of Nunavut and what the future holds for the Inuit people. In the afternoon, the majority of the expedition landed on the shores of Frem Fiord, where they were greeted by musk oxen, while our divers took a splash in the cold, murky waters of the fiord.
