A wonderful sunrise, we had a great navigation to Isabela Island. And of course the great time when we crossed the Equatorial Line, later on we got closer of Ecuador volcano and the paradoxical volcanic landscape was fantastic.

We anchored at Punta Vicente Roca is the perfect outing in the morning in order to ride the pangas and kayaking looking for Flightless Cormorant and another exceptional flightless bird which leaves close to the equator, the Galápagos Penguin.

We came back to the Islander and them we started with water activities. The Ecuadorian lunch it is very interesting we have a lot of options of the typical food. And the Captain begins to navigate to Fernandina Island.

In the afternoon we started the disembarkation to Punta Espinoza is the most interesting place to find big colonies of marine iguanas, the only sea going iguana in the all world. Geological formations like pahoehoe lava are a rare shape, similar to intestines.

On the beautiful lava field we could see growing up one characteristic and pioneer plant of the Galápagos; the lava cactus, for sure we don’t forget the amazing and unique landscape of Fernandina Island.
