Española Island

A spectacular setting to end our week in paradise. We woke up this morning at a marvelous area called Gardner bay. Snorkelers had their last outing to Turtle islet, sea stars, lots of colorful fish and other beautiful creatures were the highlight for these troopers.

Most of our snorkelers signed up for kayaking too. This time we paddled around Gardner islet surrounded by sea lions and dozens of sea turtles swimming with us. Beach lovers at the same time enjoyed beautiful moments on a white sandy area and shared precious moments with sea lions.

The best time we had in an area called in Punta Suarez. This place is packed with nesting marine birds. We enjoyed a magnificent walk among colorful marine iguanas and lava lizards, nesting nazca boobies, blue-footed boobies and even saw the last waved albatross of the season. This was our last full day in the Galápagos Islands.
