Dragon Hill & Chinese Hat

We have seen so many incredible things that it is hard to believe that we will still see more! But that’s why we arrived this morning to a place called Dragon Hill. We landed after breakfast on this beautiful shore of the island of Santa Cruz. The landscape is strange, since the coast is pulled up by a red hill. As we walked through a cactus forest and then a sleeping palo santo forest, we met the Galápagos land iguana.

Afterwards, we were ready for deep water snorkeling activities. The place, some miles away, is a very beautiful islet, known for its incredible invertebrate life wall. So we went out with our Zodiacs to Guy Fawkes Islets.

Lunch followed with ice cream as dessert, and a quick digestion for our afternoon swimming with penguins. We moved into a channel right in between Santiago Island and Chinese Hat Islet. Our guests were offered kayaking and Zodiac riding, apart from deep water snorkeling within a lava reef. Our day was complete!
