Temperature of the water, 70 degrees, skies, cloudy with little wind, air more or less warm. Today we had the most incredible experience with sea lions. It is amazing how week after week the little tiny sea lion babies that we met months ago, have been growing up every day. They are becoming more agile and expert in dealing with the water currents and the rocks. Their bodies are bigger and more muscular and their eyes show that some experiences have already sharpened their lives. Also they show more adult interest in humans blowing less bubbles and looking at us more. How are their lives now that their mums are away most of the day? Well, they fish a lot. They begin to worry about the supply of food and that shows in their faces. Still, they find the time to visit the funny group of swimmers, and play with us.
