Española Island

Today was our guest's first full day in the Galapagos Islands. We planned so many activities that we decided to start early in the morning. A beautiful sunrise made the ghostly glow of the night disappear, and a warmth and comforting sunshine accompanied us while navigating along the coast of Española, one of the oldest islands in the archipelago. Our guests found their way to the "sundeck", center of activities during the day for whale and bird watching, and certainly the best spot on the ship when a clear night allows us to navigate with our minds, throughout thousands of stars that cover the Galapagos' sky.

The sundeck is also the place for anyone who just wants to forget the world, and admire the immensity of the vast ocean with different eyes; eyes of hope.

It is the place for dreamers, for all of you who, like me, close our eyes and dream of a world in peace, with no fears, with no tears.

Today, I like to dedicate these words to anyone who has seen the ocean, who has touched the ocean, who has felt the ocean, because I do not know anybody who, when looking at it, hasn't allow themselves to dream…
