Bartolome & Santiago Islands
It is very hard to believe, but these two islands offered us fascinating insights into the habits and habitats of the species above water and under water. Bartolome captured our imagination of moonscape and scenery. The beauty of the parasitic cones with the blue ocean in the background complemented the visit and invited everyone to understand the coexistence of the amazing creatures that live in this archipelago.
An aura of mystery surrounds the underwater world of the Galápagos where there are plenty of opportunities to see and experience unexpected events, like glimpsing Galápagos penguins swimming in front of us, or, the majestic sea-turtles passing beneath us.
It is difficult to truly describe our experiences of today – how everybody interacted in complete harmony with nature, and how humans, happily, bring themselves here for the pure enjoyment of these magical islands.
