Española Island

Today we had a full day in Galápagos. Our hike in the morning was superb! The island was crowded with animals of different families and orders. The reptilian family was well represented by their colorful marine iguanas and the sea birds by the always attractive blue-footed booby. We ended our walk at a cliff where our guests decided to take a rest and enjoy the ocean view.

In the afternoon we visited the other side of this island, a perfect spot for water activities. At three o’clock everyone was ready to go snorkeling or go swimming to the beach. Both options were fantastic! In the snorkeling outing, we saw plenty of different tropical fish while the water temperature was very pleasant and all our guests enjoyed it to the fullest.

All of us were so exited after the snorkeling that we decided to go to the beach for some more adventures. Arriving there, we encountered a big colony of sea lions resting on a beautiful white beach. We rested right beside them, watching the way the sea lions pups played with the waves and how they observed us as if we were very rare creatures.

Right before sunset I got the Polaris camera and enjoyed walking along this beach, taking pictures of these amazing marine mammals.
