I came on watch to dead calm and an almost full moon. Shellie described the water as silky, and I could pick out the reflection of the peninsula in the waters next to the ship. It was a great watch, that kind that you really don't want to end. The moon set three times over the peninsula as it peeked out from the Sierras as we approached Isla San Jose. The sun is up and the calm is holding so we're off for kayaking and Zodiac'n in the mangroves and a hike in the cardons. Thursday afternoon we hope to hike, BBQ and snorkel at Pto Gato. It should be a great place for the lunar eclipse. All are invited.
