As we sailed in Idaho Inlet off Icy Strait, small rafts of sea otters rocked on the water near feeding kittiwakes, murrelets and humpback whales. After kayaking and hiking on George Island in beautiful breaking fog, the Sea Lion visited the sleepy fishing town of Elfin Cove on Chichagof Island. Persistent clear weather in Southeast Alaska continues to make for excellent wildlife viewing.
