Isla del Carmen was the perfect spot for a lovely hike. We wound through steep canyon walls that shone red in the afternoon light.
Later in the day, we relocated for an evening barbecue. Fossils of shells and sand dollars lay in profusion behind the white-sand beach. After a meal of delicious grilled salmon and ribs, we lingered for singing and star gazing before returning to our cozy ship.
