The first half of our morning was spent enjoying the Maritime Museum. We then traveled to the replica of the fort that the Lewis and Clark expedition stayed in for their winter on the Oregon coast from 1805 to 1806. Fort Clatsop is now cared for by the National Park Service. After a quick walk in the temperate rain forest we went back to the Sea Lion for lunch, and then moved back up the Columbia River towards Portland.
