Today we washed up on the shores of one of the most beautiful cities in the Baltics, namely Gdansk, with its fine architecture, gates and colorful houses. We learned about Poland’s complex and interesting history with the help of extremely friendly and knowledgable local guides who happily took us from the starting grounds of WWII and the birthplace of the anti-communism movement to the charming rebuilt streets of Old Town with all its colorful amber. We also had a fresh breeze to truly help us “feel the Baltic”and appreciate the lovely traditional Polish lunch.
