We have started our last full day of the expedition in one of the most amazing places here in the Galapagos Islands. We started with a hike along Darwin Bay. We were surrounded by many species, like red-footed boobies, swallow-tailed gulls, Darwin’s finches, Nazca boobies, and frigatebirds. There are no land animals on Genovesa Island. This place seems to be a bird paradise.

Next, we had the option to explore the island’s caldera by kayaking or snorkeling. Both options offered a unique experience in this amazing place.

During the afternoon, we headed to Prince Philip’s Steps to hike along an area where the Galapagos short-eared owl lives and hunts. It was difficult to find one, but we spotted an owl blended into the landscape.

From sunrise to sunset, we had a wonderful last full day of expedition!
