We arrived in the outer banks of the San Blas Archipelago, one of Panama’s most pristine sets of islands filled with impressive displays of native culture. The Guna people are largely recognized for the iconic mola tapestry which is known for its vivid imagery. The Guna also performed a mesmerizing flute dance that captured the connection to South American cultures.
We enjoyed a morning of snorkeling this beautiful reef system. Actually, there was beauty everywhere we looked, with the spectacular backdrop of a palm-filled island bursting with the dazzling colors of molas and the sounds of flutes, it was a great opportunity for stunning photographs and videos as we continued our voyage to Colombia.
