The DER below is from the expedition to Cuba that began on February 1, 2017.

Our second full day in Havana was spent enjoying more of this spectacular city.  Once known as the "Paris of the Caribbean" we had a day full of options.  They included visiting a cigar factory and a garage where 1950s American cars are rebuilt and used as taxis, or a Cuban art tour.  The afternoon had options of visiting the Revolution Museum and Havana University, or a talk on economy and conservation at the Jimenez Museum, followed by a visit to OnCuba Magazine to learn about contemporary media and journalism in Cuba.  Dinner was at the Hotel Lincoln with a performance by Grammy nominated band El September Nacional.
