As we woke this morning aboard National Geographic Resolution, we could see the high mountain walls of Hellemofjorden slipping past our windows as we ate our breakfast. Soon we arrived at the end of the fjord where we made our way ashore for a morning hike. Strolling amongst the incredible rock features of this unspoiled glacial valley, we made our way up to the base of a beautiful waterfall – and for the more adventurous hikers, to the top!

For our afternoon of cruising tucked deep inside Norway’s northern fjord system, we were blessed with a reprieve from the rainy coastal weather and cruised through the stunning landscape. We were lucky to be able to see right up to the top of Norway’s national mountain; the gigantic granite mountain at the heart of Stefjord named Stetind.

After a scrumptious dinner, our incredible bridge team navigated our dear ship through the spectacular natural wonder that is the narrow passageway of Trollfjord. It was a delightful end to a delightful day.
