We woke up anchored near Gardner Bay on Hood Island. After stretching exercises on the Sun deck we visited Gardner Beach, a white sandy beach where sea lions and Hood mockingbirds were easy to find.

Some of us snorkeled from the beach while the more advanced went to Gardner Island for deep water snorkeling. It was a fabulous experience with water as warm as a bath.

In the afternoon we explored Punta Suarez in the western part of the island.
