Today we tour one of the oldest islands in the archipelago. This morning’s explorations include the underwater realm of Gardner Bay; one marked by bright, clement waters that are perfect for observing sea weed planes, sting rays, and a whole host of fish and related wildlife. Later, we commence on a long walk down the white-sand beach to photograph and engage with a large company of sea lions.
In the Afternoon we explore the seabird and marine iguana kingdom of Punta Suarez. Here our guests witness no shortage of encounters with the wildlife in this area, and by day’s end we board National Geographic Islander, carrying with us a new-found appreciation for these lands.
