We spent the morning in the Inian Islands where the weather once again gave us a warm and beautiful cloudless day. The wildlife seemed ready to show off for us this morning. We were treated to breaching humpback whales, orcas, sea otters with pups, and resting harbor seals. Curious sea lions even took a break from their hunt and inspected the Zodiacs.
After a truly amazing morning, we had lunch and relocated to Idaho Inlet. The dive team was able to explore a site, and guests spent some time hiking, kayaking, and/or Zodiac cruising. The guests enjoyed the chance to get on land and see the beautiful coastal temperate rainforest.
On our way north to Glacier Bay, we discovered a humpback whale carcass with five bears feeding on it, so we stopped to observe.
