These two Islands are home to the most active volcanoes in the Galapagos, and both have shown a lot of activity in the last two years. Isabela and Fernandina have the densest marine life of all the islands in the archipelago due to is very nutrient-rich cold waters, which make it possible for green algae to rise to the surface and grow very quickly.
