Today, we are on the western side of the archipelago. We began our day by visiting Roca Redonda, a submerged volcanic formation on the most active side of the Galapagos. We were surprised by a pod of common dolphins that jumped around our ship as we sailed through the equator line.

We then went snorkeling in Punta Vicente Roca in the company of flightless cormorants, sea lions, and Pacific sunfish, the largest bonefish in the world!

In the afternoon, we explored Fernandina, where we walked among hundreds and thousands of iguanas peacefully basking in the sun, full from feasting on seaweed. Hawks and sea lions made this outing a perfect ending to the day. We ended this fantastic day with a beautiful sunset.
